Starting at Molesey Lock, first built in 1815, passing through the lock. There are also some fine boat houses with small islands.
Along the lock on the Thames, a variety of wildlife including parakeets, Canadian and Egyptian geese, ducks, swans and great crested grebes can be seen.
Around every bend a new sight is visible with more flowers and fauna and gentle acoustics propelling you forward. It really is very relaxing and enjoyable, allowing your mind time to drift along slowly, away from all other pressures and hustle and bustle within the City.
Lunchtime tours are also available, paddling upstream and mooring at a riverside restaurant to eat, before paddling downstream to return to Molesey Lock overlooking Hampton Court Palace.
